Wayne Loftus is an Assistant Librarian in the Health Sciences Libraries, and liaison to the Office of Clinical Research and the Cancer Center. He comes to the University from the Southwest Foundation for Biomedical Research, an independent, non-profit research institute conducting basic research in the biosciences. Previously, he worked at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio as a Reference and Microcomputer Services Librarian, and the University at Buffalo Health Sciences Library as a Reference Assistant. Wayne has a particular interest in the application of technology in library services, and has broad experience in working with clinicians, educators, and researchers in a variety of environments. Wayne received his MLS from the University at Buffalo and is a member of the Academy of Health Information Professionals.
