This page supports the PowerPoint classes taught at the Bio-Medical Library, including PowerPoint: The Basics, PowerPoint: Beyond the Basics, and PowerPoint: Posters and PDAs. The PowerPoint classes are taught on PCs using the 2003 version of PowerPoint. Each class typically includes hands-on time.

images.MD compiles over 48,000 high-quality images spanning all of internal medicine, all derived from Current Medicines series of illustrated atlases. Each image is accompanied by detailed and informative text. After registering for a free account, images can be put into "My Slides" and e-mailed to the user as a PowerPoint presentation.

Blackout screen during presentation
If you want to black out your screen while you are presenting, press [Shift] and the B key at the same time. Your screen will black out. To end the black screen and resume your slideshow, press [Shift] and the [B] key again.
