Depression poses greater risks during pregnancy than Prozac doctors say

Newspaper Article Synopsis:

Women who take antidepressants for mental illness should not fear using the drugs during pregnancy. A recent study shows that the drugs do not cause any kind of malformations in the fetus. It is safer for the mother to stay on her medication. Depressed women have more complications such as low-birth weight babies and postpartum depression.
