Going off drugs can have side effects

Patients who take antidepressants that are part of the drug class called serotonin reuptake inhibitors (Zoloft Prozac Paxil etc.) should be aware that some adverse symptoms may be experienced when the drug is discontinued. Discontinuation symdrome occurs when the body is free of the drug but the brain chemistry is still undergoing changes that can lead to symptoms such as vertigo and insomnia.
