Studies link depression risk, menopause

Newspaper Article Synopsis:

Two studies show that women increase their chances of having a bout of depression as menopause approaches. One study found that women with a history of PMS were more likely to experience depression; the other study found that women nearing menopause were almost twice as likely to develop symptoms of depression.
