NLM’s site hosts 4 specialized databases, AIDSLINE, AIDSTRIALS,
AIDSDRUGS and DIRLINE (all available via GratefulMed). In addition, the site
hosts satellite broadcasts and posts timely information on trials, treatments
and conferences.
NLM's consumer-orientated site offers a vast array of links to quality
websites, organized by subtopic.
National Institutes of Health Office of AIDS Research (www.nih.gov/od/oar)
The NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR) is located within the Office of the
Director of NIH and is responsible for the scientific, budgetary, legislative,
and policy elements of the NIH AIDS research program. Its website provides
detailed updates on research initiatives, analysis, and offers links to other
sites, predominantly governmental.
HealthWeb’s HIV and AIDS page is a collaborative effort of the Library
of the Health Sciences University of Illinois at Chicago, Midwest AIDS Training
and Education Center and the HealthWeb Project. The majority of resources
presented are hypertext links to information on AIDS & HIV with short
reviews that accompany the given resource.
This site contains a wealth of peer-reviewed information, including
citations and abstracts of recent major articles as well as clinical
guidelines, information on clinical trials, and recent conferences.
HIV positive.com is a consumer oriented website, providing good basic
information about HIV & AIDS as well as information on new treatments,
guidelines and statistics. It is
produced by TRX Interactive Communications Inc.

for non-United States and global information, including statistics by
country.
