The University of Minnesota offers several databases for locating articles
about Alternative and Complementary medicine. There are also several free databases on the Internet that contain journal
citations.
AMED (Allied and Alternative Medicine) is now available for University of Minnesota faculty, staff, and students through the BioMedSearch system.
MEDLINE database may be used to search for articles about topics in
Alternative Medicine. The Bio-Med library offers access to MEDLINE and other
health science databases through BioMedSearch. MEDLINE is also available at no cost on the internet through PubMed. In general, use Medical Subject headings for your search when developing a
search in Medline.

Database from the Society of Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis containing
11465 references to hypnosis related materials in journals and books.
IBIDS Database

IBIDS contains bibliographic records, including abstracts published in
international scientific journals on the topic of dietary supplements,
including vitamins, minerals, herbal and botanical supplements from the Office
of Dietary Supplements at the NIH.
National Center for Complementary and

Division of the NIH concerned with Alternative Medicine. Resources include the
CAM citation index listing articles from 1963-present, research grant
information, and bibliographies.
