Services to Support Teaching

The Bio-Medical Library supports teaching through integrated instruction, personalized workshops and other support mechanisms. We would like to assist you by coordinating our resources to be effectively utilized in both the areas of teaching and research. A listing of our basic services follows. Course Integrated Instruction

Librarians work with professors, teaching assistants, and staff to improve information literacy by providing in class instruction for print and electronic resources. Classes are tailored to the specific needs of the students and instructor in order to optimize their library research.

Library Workshops

Each semester the library offers a series of workshops to enhance and improve an individuals' information seeking skills. Consultations - small group, one on one
