Despite its name, InfoPOEMs doesn’t have anything to do with poetry. POEMs stands for Patient-Oriented Evidence that Matters, and is a tool to keep you current and answer your clinical medicine questions at the point of care. It consists of two parts: Daily InfoPOEMs, and InfoRetriever.
An InfoPOEM is a synopsis of research applicable to clinical practice. Editors review more than 1,200 studies monthly, presenting only the best as InfoPOEMs. You can get a daily email with new InfoPOEMs, or you can use InfoRetriever to simultaneously search the InfoPOEM database and 6 other evidence-based practice resources. With InfoPOEMs, you can quickly retrieve evidence to answer your clinical questions. You can also download InfoRetriever to your PDA.
