The Bio-Medical Library has begun a pilot project to provide reference services via Instant Messaging (IM). U of M affiliates can add our buddy name (ummedref) to their buddy lists from AIM, MSN, GoogleTalk, or Yahoo accounts to send our reference staff a question via IM.
