The Health Sciences Libraries, in partnership with the Mayo Clinic Libraries and the MINITEX Library Information Network, announces the launch of a new Internet resource to locate statewide health services.  My Health Minnesota → Go Local is a new free, online directory of health services in Minnesota. We're proud to announce that this new resource is available to the public at http://medlineplus.gov/minnesota.

Go Local builds on the free MedlinePlus consumer health website from the National Library of Medicine.  Between the two, people can locate quality health information about diseases and conditions and link to local health services in their communities.  MedlinePlus is a great source of reliable, understandable health information for the public, and an important resource for practitioners to know about.  The addition of Go Local expands the utility of this important tool.
