Peter is the biosciences librarian at both the Bio-Medical Library and Magrath Library. He is the liaison for the Departments of Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Biophysics, Genetics, Cell Biology and Development, and he also has subject-specialist responsibilities for bioinformatics. Previously he was the reference librarian for sciences and engineering at Virginia Commonwealth University.  He has also completed science library internships at MIT and Brown University, held adjunct faculty appointments at colleges in New England, and worked in laboratory technology at Cornell University. Peter holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Cincinnati, a MLIS from the University of Rhode Island, and a M.S. in agronomy/soil science from Cornell University.
