MEDLINE is the National Library of Medicine's premier database of citations from the biomedical journal literature. It contains over 16 million citations from about 5000 journals in the health sciences. In this class, you will learn essential techniques for effectively searching MEDLINE via Ovid, including developing a search strategy, using Medical Subject Headings (MeSH), ways to narrow or broaden your search, and saving and printing retrieved citations.
