• Library staff check for incoming requests once a day, Mon-Fri, and will try to send a response back to you via e-mail within one working day. If this turnaround time is not fast enough to meet your needs, you may instead use traditional routes for reference assistance (phone (612) 626-3260 or in-person requests are taken at the Reference Desk, 2nd Floor Diehl Hall).

• Requests should be of the "ready reference" type, e.g., asking for health science related facts, statistics, or citation verifications (maximum of 3 cites).

• As with in-person or telephone requests, we generally spend up to 10 minutes finding the answer to your question. For more in-depth questions, we may refer you to other sources.
