Instruction Services
The Bio-Medical Library provides library instruction that teaches students, faculty, and staff to fully utilize library resources and materials, as well as to develop lifelong information seeking skills. We offer two types of classes:
- Library Workshops are in-house sessions open to all University students, staff and faculty regarding a variety of library resources and research techniques.
- Librarians provide course-integrated instruction to enhance and support teaching and learning. In consultation with instructors, sessions are designed to teach skills and resources specific to a course or assignment. Interested faculty should contact their librarian liaison to request a customized session.
Classes are free for all University of Minnesota affiliates. Users not associated with the University should contact InfoNow to enquire about class availability and fees.
