The Bio-Medical Library provides Interlibrary Loan services to other academic, public and hospital libraries. We loan books and AV materials and provide copies of articles and book chapters in accordance with U.S. Copyright Law. Individuals and corporate libraries are served by the Biomedical Information Service.

General Information

Requests for loans or photocopies can be made by web form, email or fax, or through the OCLC, ISO, or DOCLINE electronic request systems.

Normal response time is within 24 hours (weekends and holidays excluded). Rush and patient care emergency service is available (extra fees may apply). Please refer to Services and Fees for more information.

All clients are billed by invoice at the end of the month. Credit cards are not accepted.

All requests should include complete bibliographic information and should ideally be verified before submission. A citation clarification fee will be charged for all incomplete or incorrect citations corrected by our staff.

All requests for copies or original loans must indicate CCG or CCL for copyright compliance. The Bio-Medical Library reserves the right to refrain from copying any request we deem to be in excess of copyright law or guidelines.

While most materials are shipped the next working day, the Bio-Medical Library cannot guarantee turnaround time or our ability to fill an order. Once submitted, it may not be possible for you to cancel an order without incurring charges. If you mistakenly submit duplicate requests, you may be held accountable for applicable charges.
